Women Making Sense of Sex (and everything else) at Sixty

Join Priya and Satya Lila, Tantra Teacher and Personal Growth Facilitator, in a lively discussion about women making sense of sex at sixty and navigating the changing terrain of a woman’s sex life after menopause.

After menopause we women go through a profound change in our sense of sexual desire. As frightening as it is for men to face their aging virility, it is as frigthening for women. Many of us give up as it seems to big to tackle. Some of us have no appetite for it anymore and fear the olss of love of our spouses or the image of the shriveled up old “spinster”. Others become ravenous older women and also fear being shunned as “cougars” and do not know how to get our strong sexual appetites fulfilled. and, there is everything in between. Some heterosexual women embark on sexual gender prefence changes. It is important to open up and share what’s going on so that we can receive inspiration for what ever new possibilities are emerging in our individual lives and to counteract the very present isolation that our modern society imposes upon older people.
